2009 Golf for Kids

Organized by the Chinese-Canadian Miracle Weekend Committee, this premiere golf tournament provides participants with the opportunity to enjoy a fun-filled day of golf and networking with colleagues while supporting the Hospital in its role as the leading healthcare facility for the children of BC. 

Held at the Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club, the tournament will host 144 golfers for a day of golf at one of the most exciting golf courses in British Columbia followed by an evening award reception, raffle draw and dinner.

This tournament is an integral part of BC Children’s Hospital’s Chinese-Canadian Miracle Weekend, and the campaign is one of the most successful fundraising events in BC.

By participating in the Tournament, you are choosing to be a “superhero” by showing your support in improving the health and lives of BC’s children and families.

2009 Event

On May 29, 2009, 144 participants took to the green at May Fair Lakes Golf & Country Club to enjoy a day of golf in the 2009 Golf for Kids Tournament.  Guests were treated to beautiful weather, a scrumptious dinner and an entertaining awards banquet. The Tournament successfully raised $48,098 for the Excellence in Child Health Fund at BC Children’s Hospital.
